Also, know the pattern of the exam you are going to give and the pattern of questions being asked pre or post-examination. Knowing the syllabus is a good strategy. Understand the exam structure and topics for the job role you are applying for to know what to expect. This means that if for instance, there are areas you consider important, then dedicate more of your time to those areas or parts of the course.
Come up with a study schedule that entails all the fractions of the exam to prepare for. Devote more efforts to concepts that are difficult to understand while at the same time reviewing the portions that are assumed to be easy to master.
Use dummy tests often that will help you to know how well you have prepared and also helps in the development of your time management skills. Based on mock tests, ascertain your weak characteristics and work on them.
Current Affairs means the latest happenings around the globe, or even locally when one is preparing for an exam. For the General Awareness section, one must focus on reading newspapers, especially those regarding banking sectors and financial markets. Newspapers, magazines, and any informative publications and channels are helpful. This is done by maintaining a high degree of accuracy, while at the same time not sacrificing much in terms of speed.
Time and correctness are vital when it comes to testing and exams in general. But make sure that when practicing, the questions should be solved as accurately as possible while maintaining a reasonable speed. There is negative marking, so it is better not to guess. Time plays a very important role in these exams.
